Hackney Walk Retail Fit-out, Hackney Fashion Hub

Internal fit-out for a multi-brand outlet concept store in Arch 190 of the Hackney Walk Luxury Outlet District. Sitting within a railway arch, part of a larger regeneration project masterplanned by David Adjaye Associates, studio p helped to deliver a striking and simple retail space design clad in a hardwearing dark carpet imported from Germany, with subtle angled elements complementing the industrial feel of the galvanised steel arch. Due to site constraints, none of these new elements are fixed directly into the existing building, but were constructed as a self-stabilising, discrete structure. Display elements are light and able to be repositioned to allow for maximum flexibility through the project lifespan. Completed July 2016
